Serious question for the "it's rigged" crowd: Why play on a site that you believe is not fair to all?
Second question: I've asked this many times, and no one's been able to provide it, but I'll ask again... Where's the statistical proof that Merge (or any software) is rigged? I'm not talking about one individual hand, I'm talking about a database of thousands upon thousands of hands, showing that the math doesn't add up.

Ok then the same can be asked from you. and isnt it funny that the sites cant even provide there audits of the rng.. O wait we are talking about the KGC being in charge of having this done.. but if you wanna stay naive go for it. and for the first part. where else is anyone gonna play? I dont believe any one of the rigged people have ever said its rigged for certain people just rigged for max profit by the site and even if someone was to show samples people would still complain it isnt big enough sample. But if the last 4 or 5 yrs of scandals havent proven that these sites are just out for max profit i dont what will... I think most just hope that one day the site will pick there hands to hold instead of finding ways to river screw em

That's bullshit.
The fact that ndns can build embassies in other countries to deal specifically with them is hurting our country. I am Native American and I'm against it.
As for the rigged question, I think it probably isn't at some points. But to genuinely have a singular outlook, you have to play games that don't have any community cards like 5-Card Draw, Stud, or Razz.
Are the video games I play rigged when I know (in my gut) that my Panzer IV is gonna get killed with one shot rather than 3 or 4?---or when I know (in my gut) when there is going to be a burst of internet lag?
Call it intuition or psychic. We're all in this together when we play with community cards so being beat by 7-2os when the other player has that 'gut-feeling' can be reciprocated.
Now, are you one to have the outlook of "I'll never fold pocket Aces?" Coz if you are, then you've already lost. I fold AA, KK, QQ, on a regular basis. I've seen two-pair beating them so often I really don't regard them as all that good of a hand.Last edited by eqgh5uea; 03-14-2012 at 09:47 AM.

Could the strange bad beats be from the way the cards are randomized? I've heard that the delay (or speed) in the timing of your call or raise could affect the next card out from the deck.

The only reason the site may seem rigged, and this goes for all online pokers sites. (regardless of what county the RHG was created in) When playing online poker you have the opportunity to play on more tables, and not only that, the play is also faster. I've learnt throughout a study that you see 18% more hands online versus live play. Therefore, when taking the two above mentioned factors into consideration it REALLY ups the percentage for a player to see bad beats. It's as simple as this: MORE HANDS = MORE BAD BEATS & LESS HANDS = LESS BAD BEATS.. Hopefully that solves your suspicions about Carbon being "rigged".
