This will be my 3rd cashout from bovada since poker black frinday. I have never had any problem with them other than waiting for the check to arrive which has been at the most just under three months. If I was ever unable to receive a cashout from a site I would stop using that site entirely. If that meant every site, I would no longer play poker online.

Well I didn't get the check yesterday. I guess it was because of Presidents Day. I sucks because according to the tracking info it has been right down the road since Sat night. Anyway should be here today. Does anyone know specifically the "One free cashout a month" policy at Bovada. Is that per calendar month or do I have to wait "x" amount of time before making another cashout?

Bovada gives me my highest winrate is bb/100 but I find it tough to play without notes or a HUD. I'm glad to hear they pay out quick...I'm having a frustrating time getting a payout from PO.

::Update:: Check just arrived. I'm headed to the bank. Came from Canada. I'll post when the funds are available. Last time it only took a day. That would be nice.

Well I just got a call from the bank saying I have to come in and sign a form so they can ship it off for international collections. This wouldn't be happening if I banked with a bigger bank like, Chase or BOA, but I am with a smaller non profit credit union. It's a little annoying but I'm not going to change banks over it. (at least I know to point it out to the teller from now on) They'll have to ship the check to the main branch for clearance so it will take a little longer but customer service at Bovada assured me the delay shouldn't be a problem with the check clearing.

So the check was shipped of to there "third party" collections yesterday. Once the check is received by them I will receive "provisional" credit. That is all fine and good as long as there is no problem with the check as they say they can take as long as seven months to come back unpaid at which time I would owe that money back if I have spent it and would also be responsible for a returned check fee. That's worst case scenario and I doubt there will be any problems. However, in the event that there is a problem, I'll be pissed and on the phone with Bovada and posting here and any other site I can find if Bovada is less that accommodating in lieu of.
I do like my bank, but I think to solve this I am going to open up a second account with a larger bank. Bigger banks don't go through "third party collection agencies" and do it "in house" in a much more streamlined process. So any problems would be detected much earlier. I can also keep my money separated so, (unless I have an immediate need) I can let it sit until I know there won't be any problems.
If anyone else banks with a smaller holding company, you can google "top US banks" and anyone or those listed should be able to cash international checks in house.
