I could not disagree with the theme of this thread more. Carbon has a tremendous amount of added value promotions, and I have received a check from them. Granted the check took almost 10 weeks. Having said that, Carbon Poker has a proven track record of paying out to their players. Additionally, they treat their top players with a Vip rep. Carbon isn't as great as PS was/is, but in the USA poker climate today, we really can't complain. Beggars can't be choosers. Carbon Poker is imo the best availible option. There is a reason that they have a peak of 10-12,000 people online at once.

I contacted support and was advised that the points were deducted bc I hadn't played any real money games for 32 days and they deduct 1000 pts. after 30 days then 5000 for every 30 days after.

I hadn't played bc I was taking a break. Something all players need to do occasionally. I have NEVER played anywhere that had a VIP policy like this. It's a blatant act of greed and a proverbial middle finger to all it's players bc they know most players have very few choices for playing real money games at this time.

I will now only be playing free rolls on Carbon and will withdraw ALL money I make. They won't get 1 more cent from me. I have already requested my $500+ be sent to me now ( of course I'll have to wait 10 years to get it and Carbon will Steal a huge chunk in fees). This is just another entry on the endless list of things Carbon does terrible. A few minutes in the forums here and other places is very telling of how people feel about Carbon. I can't wait until places like Pokerstars and FTP start taking us players again.
Well I just posted w/o reading the OP. Usually get mad when others do this lol. Having said that, this is what is called Decay of points in the poker community. It is actually pretty standard. Does it suck? Yes! It is clearly stated that it will happen though.

I have dealt with Carbon on other issues and had no expectations they were going to do the right thing so I didn't bother asking for a supervisor as I have in the past. I did launch a verbal assault on the "customer service" rep I was talking too though, lol. I advised them of how many policies were in place only to rip people off and make Carbon more money and how most people only play there because choices are very limited.

He actually said to me that "we are aware that people don't like us and we are sorry they feel that way but the rules are the rules." LOL. I had to end the conversation with the classic and "classy" " Only for everyone that runs Carbon to gets A.I.D.S and die." In response to him asking "is there was anything else I could "help" you with today?"

Yes, points decay happens everywhere but there isn't anywhere that I have played over the last 9 years that takes that many points and for such a short period of non play.
