Just today i found out how to disable those annoying MTT anouncements by the administrator.. if anyone is interested:

Options ---> Turnament Announcements --> Pop up blocking

EV stands for expected value and +EV basically refers to something that is a good choice and will make money in the long run. Alot of people who play poker use it as a slang for something that is good.

It means that the gtd is not met by the amount of players and the site has to put in there money..

i have used +EV and -EV to describe life situations. i use poker terms for real life all the time. like if sum 1 wins a 2 outta 3 match of tennis or something on the third game. "They won it on the river."

What i was referring to as using it slang for something good was for times like when you are having dinner and say something like "Getting the wings was definately a +EV decision". I could go on with examples but i dont see the point.

Im apologise that when someone asked about +EV i gave the full spectrum of how its used in the poker world.
