Minion Poker



• Each player is given XX number of “Minions” (Bots)
• When a Bot of YOURS wins a pot, a % of that pot is given to the player
• When a player is eliminated, all of his Minions are instantly eliminated (After the hand)
• Future upgrade could include play style for the players Minions. (Players can adjust them how they want them to play)


The idea is, each player is give (Let's say) 20 minions with 100 chips (Health) each. If they bust, then they are out of course.. So you might be down to 15 minions, or 10 etc.. When YOU bust, all your minions are eliminated.


Could be an easy game mode for us to code.

Each player starts out as a “overlord” that has 9 minions each (Minions start at 10% of the starting chip stack, but let me adjust this in the control panel)

-Minions SHOULD start out at a different table from their overlord (Later on they can and will be at the same table, thats ok). Try to mix them up at different tables if possible

-When a Minion wins a pot, a 10% (Let me adjust this in admin CP) of that pot is given to the player (Their Overlord).

-At the table, the Overlords Minions will be Green in color, all enemy Minions will be Red (Need to create the minion and potentially overlord graphics). So they can easily tell if their minion or another players. (We can use normal human characters and the orcs for now until we get new designs).

-Minions will be named after their overlord. “Tester 1” , “Tester 2” etc

-When a player is eliminated, his minions play on (So if they win money, the Overlord wins the money). You get another chance. Minions are greedy, if they win any real money, they only give 10% of that to their overlord.

-Player is notified if one of his Minions are eliminated and how many he has left. “One of your Minions has just been eliminated. You have 7 Minions still alive”

Player should be notified when a minion wins him chips "Minion 3 has just won you 11 chips"

Player should be able to see (Someplace) all his minions and their chip stacks. Perhaps here: http://prntscr.com/om4t32 (Show My Minions)

-Future Upgrade: Players can set their Minion play styles

Could sound fun,,, but could we lose the game if we ourselves are doing good but our Bots lose? If we can just win extra if our Bots do good that's one thing ,,,,,but if we can lose the game because of the way the Bots,,, play ,,,,,then that wouldn't be fun or a good thing in my opinion

I like this. From what I'm seeing Ricki, is that even if all your minions lose, you can still win as long as you(the overlord) don't lose.

Correct.. Minions (greedy bastards only give you 10% of the chips they win) are there to help you and feed you chips.

If you get knocked out, you still have a chance to win money based off your minions.

If all your minions get knocked, then you are all alone
