explained. i type name an pass then it says its loging in redirecting and then it dosnt log me in however after i a. do it a few times it works or b. my name is on bottom as if i was logged in i click it some times it also logs me in.

Yes this is what you do, I was having this issue myself about 2 weeks ago

This seems to cause a lot of confusion. But once you log in for some reason if brings to back to home page and says you arent logged in. But if you click forum or go anywhere else on site you will see that you are actually logged in.

I would also recommend clicking remember me when you log in. As this will stop you being randomly logged off the site at times.

if you dont check in often you will have to log in again i find, just save your password to your broswer and hit remember me, better it log you out then someone else on your account
