I tried to refer a friend off mine from the states but nothing happened, then a friend referred me a he did not get any points for doing the same thing. Is the refer a friend not working for new comers.

you can, but have to change IP's, it told me I had two accts when I refered my brother (because he lives 2 doors down and sometimes use the same router)
