Did PO Downloads hurt your computer? If so, he's the solution

Well this has come up a lot recently, so if you ever are having a problem with your machine after downloading something (and my recommendation is DONT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING), I would run the following 3 programs - they are all free, and will require reboots after the 1st 2 steps:

AdwCleaner (AdwCleaner Download)

JRT (Junk Removal Tool - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/down...-removal-tool/)

Malwarebytes (Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download)

Edit: I'm adding one more program to the list as a last resort - ComboFix. I've used it before and it's very powerful, but can mess up existing programs. Use wisely.

Download em all first, then run them in order. This will also remove any pornados you might have acquired "by accident".

Well that's the step you take BEFORE downloads - although I still recommend no downloads.

If you are new to PO downloads can make you like 3k, so I would recommend them, as long as it's done safely.

i just downloaded the malware that rivdee posted!! wow its working great, i had a virus and kept getting bluescreened!! popped up twice today saying it blocked the virus!! weeeeeeeeeeee! thought i was gonna have to get a new computer!!btw, i havent downloaded crap in a long time, not sure where the virus came from!! but thanks for posting that rivdee!!
