About LinkBacksWhen restarting the PokerStars client, I got a "A newer version of the software is available on the server" notice as so many times before. This time, however, the update process failed with the error (I tried several times):
Unable get latest software version from the server
Error code -3/0
Any suggestions what to do? Clicking ok just gets me the failed update, clicking cancel terminates the client.

Try turning off your anti virus for the download. I have had to do that for a few poker sites, but I don't remember the error message I was getting.

i did the update .. took FOREVER !! but it did work. You might try to uninstall PS , run CCleaner, then install a fresh download

Also .. since the Update .. i been having and noticing others having LAG / disconnects
