had 99 pre guy raised, the short stack went all in, i missed the flop, should let it go preflop 8/8

wow made a move trying to steal a pot and the guy calls 80% of his stack with middle pair, either a really really good call or really really sick call however u wanna look at it lol. goth 8th for 3.75 and 2 kos. wow that call really pisses me off i raised pre, raised flop, raised turn, all in on the river and this guy calls me down with middle pair, and oh that pair was BOTTOM pair on the flop.
