I agree and I disagree. I think the most standard/obvious play is to get it all in pre. Considering it is a $3 buyin and people arent paying attention to the fact you have an 11BB stack (norm shove or fold), i think there might be some value in occasionally flatting here in position and letting him stack off to you postflop. Around 90% of the time I am getting it all in here. However I think that it is good to be tricky sometimes and flatting here in position on RARE occasions is ok for this $3 buyin. Obv unlucky runout.

Meh, possibly w/AA thats an option, maybe even KK. W/QQ tho theres too many scary cards to hit the board that can cause you to fold. By flatting here uve given up a shitload of FE if an A or K comes on the flop n u decide that uve gotta fold. Now your only shoving 9BBs into an open pot or even worse a raised one where the original raiser is going to have just under 2:1 pot odds to call if he min raises.

I tried to really emphasize in my post that the correct play is to shove. I even said im shoving 90%+ here in this $3 buyin game. If someone asked me how to play the hand I would say SHOVE pre.

I just think there is some value in being tricky sometimes and not always taking the most +EV line. You have position which is huge... its going to make it a lot easier to know if you should stack off on Axxxx runouts or not. If he leads out Axx flops I fold and slap myself for not jamming pre. If he leads out Kxx flops I either call or get it in depending on sizing, sometimes id wait until turn to get it in. Since there are less combos of Kx im really only folding Axx flops when he leads out and not folding Kxx if he leads. Theres a chance it goes c/c on Axx flop and in that case im willing to call off on turn or river. Flatting preflop masks your hand a lot and opens the door for your opponent to stack off his air or buff shove all sorts of boards. But still, Ill say it one more time so everyone is clear, you should shove preflop here nearly 100% of the time.

No, i know what ur saying for sure. Im just saying that i think Id be more willing to catch FPS w/AA or possibly KK, but very seldom QQ unless ive gotta major soulread on villain.

And I definitely agree with this.
