Setting up residence inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for a total of 49 days, the 2014 World Series of Poker will kick off on May 27 and run through until the July 14.
As yet the full roster of events hasn't been finalised, however, the organisers are expecting to host at least 60 bracelet tournaments.
Of the events currently pencilled in, the Big One for ONE DROP (starting date: June 29), the Little One for ONE DROP (two starting days: July 3 - 4) and the Millionaire Maker (starting date: May 31) have already captured the imagination of the poker community.
Indeed, owing to the success of these tournaments in recent years, the planners have been quick to lock them into the schedule ahead of next summer's festival of fun.

The 45th Annual World Series of Poker is only 159 days away.
On Thursday, the WSOP announced that the world's most popular poker festival will take place from May 27-July 14, 2014 at the Rio All-Suit Hotel and Casino. The Main Event begins on July 5 and will reach a final table on July 14.
A full schedule, with more than 60 bracelet events, is expected to be released in January.
"In our 45th year, and 10th at the Rio, we are hard at work to make the 2014 World Series of Poker the biggest and best yet," said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. "We will build it, we hope you will come."Ave Fenix XD

Does anyone know of any satellites that range from one hundred to five hundred or step tournaments to win your buy in to the WSOP 2014? My father and I made a promise to each other to play in one of the WSOP main events together one year but he passed away three years ago. So I am trying really hard to play in the tournament this year or next, but i just got married and have 16 months old daughter and the ten grand buy in is a little out of my price range, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
