I think pokerstars will be back to some time in the near future. After it purchase fulltilt and agreed to pay players back their money, there's a great chance it will be available for US player's

PS is definitely not gone forever. They worked out a deal with the US government where they will be allowed to operate in the US again as soon as online poker is explicitly legal in the US.

PS might eventually start offering poker to NJ residents because that is where they bought the casino. Poker legislation will be on a state level and nationally it's probably very far away. Hopefully a few states can pool a decent sized player pool and then we can just move to poker friendly states and play online again.

If the US government can find a way to tax it through pokerstarts then maybe it could come back, but that doesn't look promising.
