main thing to learn frm this one would be to make sure to cash out next time whenever u hit say even $ 100 i would cash out even if i hit $ 50! why not secure ur cash ?? u rather do tht n try n make sum more again in freerolls rather thn gamble it away n lose it all. gud luck for u once u return frm ur break.

That is a tough break...I did almost the same thing on fulltilt before they kicked US players...I didnt lose my money though...I started with zero and made about 17k in two years...One thing I did notice though while playing on fulltilt...I am a very profitable player when it comes to poker, but I had numerous times throughout my building process where I would sit and play 5-10 or 10-20 blinds cash tables...I lost a thousand dollars numerous different times to runners. Always way ahead with my money in the pot. But once you sit to play cash you can lose your whole bankroll in one hand....That is why there is a structure depending on your bankroll. Also playing for an amount of cash that can make you quit poker is most peoples problem...You tried to move up a little to fast is all....I have decent stats at fulltilt under davey25 or ddavey25 dont remember which was FT or PS. I wish you luck and hope you kick some ass today....yodaofpoker

$100 bucks is no reason to cash out...Will a hundred make a difference in your life? if not let it ride.......woohoo. Just next time stick with the limits you were playing to build your bankroll that high...moving up is most peoples problem. Your decision making is affected by the amount of cash you can lose...yodaofpoker

BRM IS your problem not going on tilt. Theres absolutely no way (BRM wise) to lose all your winnings in a single day. Way too many poker players have this idea of grandeur and go for it by any means and having no thought of money management. So while u take this time off you need to think of BRM and what it means... If you could possibly blow thru a roll like that you have some serious problems with OCD that need to be handled first.

I guess being on a poker forum you see alot of people with OCD cause you here of people winning a good amount or grinding it up to a good amount only to go on tilt and lose it all in a few hours or days. Thats not tilt its a serious mental issue called OCD.

Some of us would KILL to get a roll up like(and could manage it very well) that but cant get past the miracle BS beats to make more then a dollar at a time so some like me have no understanding why people go for the golden ring when its NEVER a good thing and nothing good can EVER come of it. Cause you will just lose it all anyways ALWAYS. You can call it tilt all you want but basically you have serious OCD issues that need to be addressed...

Yeah - sounds like u burned out. I have done this a couple times when I was younger. For me - I lost sight of when my 2 pair was beat - couldn't believe set over set could happen 5x in a row; but we all know over the cours of a million hands these things happen. But instead of dropping down in stakes and playing survivor poker for a while I reloaded and went up stakes - tilty and more impatient. Rakeback helps when in survivor mode - taking a break helps too. Knowin how to take $3.80 to $80 is a skill (pokerOwned helps with that - as well as free rolls and .02 limit poker). My VIP level is up now and Im placing in $10k Free rolls and Chip king $2,500 (ok 29th or 30th out of 300 and just missed $22 free cash - but thats the idea anyway - "Tommylee2684" was doing well - he's a pro yet his Carbon Stats show minus $1,300...so it happens to all of us I guess). Looking forward to next Chip King Free ROll...
