I came across this article regarding a recent effort to have Howard Lederer banned from playing at Aria after his shady running of FTP. Check the article out and share your opinion on the matter. Would you sign the petition if you could or would you back Lederer? Whats your opinion of Lederer in general?

Aria's decision. Don't like Howard, but it is up to Aria to run their business as they see fit. If they say yes I'll side with them. If they say no, I'll do the same.
In general I found Howard's interview on FTP lackluster, but I'm not entirely certain he is any more culpable than the other FTP pros who people let off the hook because their name is Phil Ivey. I also like Ivey but he contributed as much or more to FTP going broke and running a Ponzi scheme as Howard did.

I think for sure, it shoild be up to the casinos also, who have to provide more security for safety reasons,,.and if the players dont want to play with him at all, will hu rt the poker room business as well. i watched the lederer tapes online a few weeek back, when he did that one lonng interview. and its painful to watch i think, with him trying to dodge a lot. hes cancelled any more interviews after that too. maybe he shoild go to europe , to live and play right now.where at least the players have gottten back their moeny now from FT. maybe he wont be as persecuted there.

Can't remember who did the song,, maybe Steve Miller, "Take The Money and Run" but there are more guilty people here but I'm sure it will be swept under the rug. It okay to make money off a poker site. But this was just flat ass stealing.

I wonder how players like him continue to find people to play with. I felt he should have been banned a long time ago.

The key here is the quote "has not been found guilty of any wrong doing".I don't like Lederer either. He acts like a smug math genius and can not understand when he loses even though he should have of according to the "math".That being said, who the fuck are these players who want him banned. Are they so morally above board that they would not have done what Lederer did?I have played small limit cash games at a couple of Vegas casinos and could not wait to get back online. The ONLY reason i would support a ban on another player is if he was flat out caught cheating.......
