The big news this week comes to us from PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker room, as it has announced intentions to develop a product similar to the uber popular and now defunct Rush Poker. Full Tilt Poker developed Rush Poker as “the ultimate high speed poker game”.
Full Tilt Poker was shut down on June 29 after its licensing arm, the Alderney Gaming Control Commission, pulled the plug on the site for failure to pay out customers. FTP co-founders were charged on April 15 in the United States with money laundering and bank fraud. The Rush Poker site was also seized by US authorities.
PokerStars founder were also charged as part of the same indictment, however, Stars has continued to thrive after paying all its customers and exiting the US market.
PokerStars released the following statement this past weekend:
"Pokerstars is developing a fast moving ring games product. We expect it to be available for public beta testing in a few months."

PokerStars to Develop its Own Version of Full Tilt Poker’s Rush Poker
"And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

Damn lots of news today....
Not surprised they decided to reverse engineer this popular feature. SOP for software giants.

Oh yeah!!
Since the licensed is suspended for FTP it would be legal for Pokerstars to get Rush Poker, I still haven't lose my hope on FTP thought.
But I don't think FTP will the be same when is reopen again.
I can't wait for Rush games on Pokerstars, Fab will love this.
PS will just be fine without US.Last edited by ProBlackbird; 09-21-2011 at 04:31 PM.
