Fans of High Stakes Poker will know that Daniel Negreanu sometimes has the habit of drawing the wrong card at the wrong time. 100,000′s of dollars lost in a blink of an eye with only an epic story of running into a very expensive cooler remaining. The first event of the Limit Hold?em Challenge series started on PokerStars this Saturday and unfortunately for Negreanu, memories from that era came back to haunt him once again.
Negreanu faced off against a German opponent only known as ?rUaBot,? who is a Limit Hold?em specialist and has become one of the latest online-phenoms. Each started with a $75,000 bankroll and blinds were set up for $200/$400 spread across two tables.
?rUaBot? started off with the early lead and never once looked back. Although they scheduled to play 1,250 hands, only 937 were needed before Negreanu was broke. Time after time, Negreanu would run bad and get outdrawn ? usually on the river. Evidence of Negreanu?s frustrations were captured in the chat following the match:
