He makes light of it, and uses the excuse that it was a "3+ hour senate hearing", but he is an elected official who who is paid well and should be honored to be put there by the people and take a it this very serious issue (whether it be right or wrong, they are discussing killing, displacing, and destroying the lives of many) seriously. The media has no mercy for anyone in public office and seemed a little weird a prominent politician was 'caught' playing games on his phone, while there is ongoing discussion of invading Syria. Just my 2 cents...
