    That's like playing holdem at a casino and having a messed up card where you can tell what it is, but the dealer keeps using that deck. It's not Iveys fault and he did nothing wrong, pay the man.

    I understand that it was a defect in the cards, but he's far from innocent. He knew what he was doing. While I don't know if I would classify it entirely as cheating, it was certainly not honorable.

    It's the dealers job to spot these things and switch decks.

    Read the article. The card borders were bad and the cards were arranged (with the dealers help) so Ivey would know if good or bad cards were coming out. Sounds like cheating to me.
