As a resident of Texas I`m unclear about wheather this legislation will be favorable for residents of Texas. Currenty Poker Tournaments are not legally defined as gambling. I`m quesing that so long as that doesn`t change we can continue to play that form of poker here with or without legalization.

Going to be legal in Nevada, California, and NJ by the end of the year. Other states will soon follow, the only issue is its going to be a nightmare to be verified going to have to prove you live in these states, the taxes are going to be insane. And will never be like it once was with gameplay of stars and tilt.

It would be nice to try a few of the sites that I never got to play on in the first place too, like Everest, Titan, and PKR to name a few off the top of my head.

These sites won't be coming to us. It will be casino sites at first charging rake and taxes up the butt. To get a licensing fee I read in Nevada is 30 million dollars. Party poker has already applied haven't heard but going to be hard for them to compete when they can just rake in the international market.

It would be nice not to have to play games to move the money around.
