yea, there are certain donk style players like hansen and dwan who i suspected were never elite to begin with, they both taking huge BR hits lately

wow!! Thats refreshing in a way to see that pros have to deal with variance like the rest of us. He's one of the best so i believe he'll be okay. The pros who are sponsored get very lucrative deals from online poker sites as well, so while it still hurts to run bad, i'm sure he's doing okay.

Gus is a perfect poker player for live session. On online poker he is unable to survive for a longer time ... and it will getting even worse!

Pros need to be mindful that anyone driven enough can google search the player and pick apart their entire style of playing in about 20 minutes. There's entire databases of data for these high-profile players and if they don't give other players enough credit can and will lose money. According to Ed Snowden, all of our playing histories are stored somewhere in Utah so it can happen to you too (online at least)

also remember as a FTP pro im sure if he does go broke they will deposit money into his account as part of his sponsor ship deal so even if he goes broke im sure there is a check coming soon and then he'll jjust need to run good for a little while...but damn I would shot myself if I lost that much!...lol

Gus has a career based on gambling...I'm pretty sure if he's been able to do it this long, its more probable that he will continue to be able to do so.
