GPI Player of the Year: Volpe Leads, Benger and Alekberovas Crack the Top 10
With nearly 80 points more than Mike Watson, Paul Volpe remains in the lead of the 2013 Global Poker Index Player of the Year race. Volpe added his eighth cash of the year last week in Germany, finishing 16th in a ?2,000 side event at EPT Berlin ($5,637).
Watson only recorded one cash in April: a 44th-place finish in Event #1 of the World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific.
