Can anyone tell me if Blackchip Poker is any good. I've been trying to find a good poker site for US players.

i never trust those sites... i was in top 3 with only 13 left out of over 200 on one of those sites in a game that gave $10,000 in tickets and prizes to the wsop last year and the f'n crappy web based poker site crashes... The only thing they could do was restart game. Everyone got another chance and of course i get all the way back again only to get busted by 1 outer on river and finish in 10th where top 9 gets paid... Even if you do make money i have heard some horror stories about very slow if any payouts ever being received.

any site that you earn the buy-in amount from a freerolling beginning also works.

Agreed. Look at the 10 k challenges some members have taken. Considering how long you have to grind to get that one freeroll payout you are probably better off building your bankroll with freerolls. When you finally get to 10 k you can decide to go to Vegas or use it as a down on a new car.
