This is terrible news for U.S. players. Well those outside of NV. that is. Las Vegas has been losing money as a city (yeah Mr. Wynn is still doing well), and has been looking for the solution to losing revenue due to increased acceptance of casinos in other states. Fact is people do not have to fly to Vegas to play anymore, they just gas up the car and drive a couple towns over to the local casino. Well now that Nv. has its foot in the door you can bet your ass that they will litigate fiercely to keep a monopoly on the rights to license all domestic gaming. Which means very little broad competition in the market, and a well established and crooked auditing commission. Plan on paying Nv. and federal taxes on every dollar in profit even if other states are allowed to participate. More than likely state lottery commissions will run any precedented sites. Freedom. Ugh.

It doesnt bother me if Nevada gets some cash out of it or the federal gov. As a whole we need the money. I cant wait for it to be legal in california. Freaking awsome!

This is a good start but it shouldnt just be limited to Nevada or New Jersey and whatever else they have approved. The site coming this fast is good but every state should be able to play. Ill just continue to play on merge until they ban US players.

lol mursillis, ultimate poker. But as Loweman stated, there are states like Kentucky that get excluded by many sites, and it's all becuase of misinterpretation of KY laws. Other states that are excluded have clear laws prohibiting them from playing, but KY is in a 'gray' area, neither legal, nor illegal. Now i'm down to about 7 sites i can play on, before black friday i had 49.
