I am very disappointed to say that I loaned 2000 to amber in market and she has yet to pay me back. It has been more than a week and I havent seen her on the site at all. Amber, if you see this, please pay me back.

i see her on Carbon almost everyday, but when i talk to her, she claims it is her nephew playing.
You check, I bet. You raise, I re-raise. You go all-in, I fold.

WARNING: If you use the Marketplace to Loan Points, they will NOT be returned to you if you dispute and the other user has no points!
Use the Loan Center!

When they already got a loan shark you should not loan them points since you know they are in debt already.

Zab claims Amber will be back to pay, so give him/her the benefit of the doubt for now I guess. Although it's disappointing to learn that he/she is still playing on Carbon, when he/she owes me 2200 points as well.

This is another example of why you should only loan points through the loan shark.

Loan Shark is new. We are all learning how to use it, along with what the true risk inherent in lending is like. Amber was/is a very well-known regular, exactly the kind of member that one might make an exception for lending through the market. However, after this, I think we have all learned that nobody has perfect credit, there is always risk involved with any investment, and lending through the market merits true gangster/mafia like interest rates. I will no longer lend through the market at all, and if you do, you should charge in the 50%-100% range.
