As this stakes comes to a close i feel there are a few things that need to be said. First off and most importantly I would like to address how professional S810car has been through this. He had set out his expectations very clearly and was open and supportive the whole time. That being said I think that i owe him an apology, not for it being a losing stake, but for not completing the minimum 15 games per week after the first week. Not even coming close actually. I have explained to him that my schedule at school had changed and it took some getting used to, and while that was the main reason it was not the only reason. Once my down swing started and we started losing I started to get more and more fearful of losing, and that caused me to not play games that i would have otherwise. I was so scared of losing that when i did have time to play i was so selective of the games I wanted to play that many days it caused me not to play at all. This was the first stake that i have had that was not just for one or two games and i just got so scared of losing and screwing it up that in the end I ended up screwing it up by not playing enough. He gave me the freedom to choose the the games i played and it worked great at first we were in the black for the first week but the more variance caught up with me and our roll started to diminish the more scared i got to play certain tourneys. I was kind of like a deer in headlights just not being able to decide what to do, i got scared of playing one game and thought I would wait for something better and then would think the same when something better finally came along. So when i would play if i didn't cash i didn't give myself the chance to make up for it and it hurt us. I have definitely learned from this, i understand that i have to play through the swings and this will be the last time i let the fear of losing keep me from playing. Like i said S810car was great and i hope that he sees this for what it was, a rookie stakee learning a lesson. I hope that we are able this loss behind us and start winning again. thanks again man for the opportunity

I appreciate the candid honesty, and I know it's not always easy to play with someone else's money, in fact the worry about expectation tends to make it harder. Variance is expected to happen sometimes, I don;t have a real answer for how to not psyche yourself out, only thing that gets said that's always true is you have to play as if its your own money, and to your strengths. Staking is the same risk as playing yourself, and its not expected they will always successful, all I can do is set up the least risk as possible by structure, bankroll management, etc.

On the positive side, your communication for the most part was excellent, your understanding of the responsibility you took by signing up for this was excellent (proven by refusing to accept a side job/stake without my permission, which I was happy to given it couldn't fit into our strategy), and your detail in your rail is EXACTLY what I'd expect from someone running for me, I've even referred to it for other horses to emulate in their own rail. Outside of your fear making you hesistate to do the volume requested, feel proud of the job ya did, you lost, it happens. This will not negatively affect me choosing you in the future (except we will be going over volume needs lol)
