    They can be exchanged on a number of websites for goods, currencies or services. A lot of regular businesses are using them too. I found about them through a guy that was paying for his wrap in a sandwich shop using bitcoins and his mobile phone.

    Out of curiosity what city and what sandwich shop? I live near LA and have yet to see something like this yet. Not to say they are not in LA somewhere.

    How was the phone used ... I mean did the user have to type and send something, or was the phone scanned like how they do it at a grocery store with UPC bar codes. Just curious on how something like this goes down.
