Anybody know how to use a XBox360 controler on PC running Win8?
I have the driver but they only go up to Win7

Step 1: Get rid of Windows 8 unless you have a touch screen lol. Beyond that, I'm not sure, as I don't have much experience with Win8. You can either try as is, and if that doesn't work, apply the driver for win 7, and there should be an option on Win8 to make it work with older programs. If that fails as well, you can install a virtual machine and run Win7 in there.

should just be plug and play. if not, plug it in and make it work. go to footballfreaks.com and search xbox windows8 see if ufind something. or if u go to this site, ask around or ask JBD

i have windows 8 and use my xbox controller all the time. you don't have to download the driver, its pre installed. Make sure you're using an actual wired controller and not the chargeable one, or use a wireless with the Microsoft wireless adapter. Failing that then run the driver in compatibility mode for windows 7.
