Is sharing detailed player information about another player unethical?
For example, I play in a regular game of 30 players, almost all decent players with specific playing styles. $160 buy-in after a few hours a couple of K is on the table.
If I had a friend who plays in the same game and we discussed information we both have on the players and game. That we are always talking and learning. At the same time when we are in a hand together its go time and no mercy towards each other.
Is this ok?

Im not talking at the table...there we are foes. Im talking sitting down smoking a fatty and going over information for 30 players. Basically breaking down each player. Since its a friendly game, I feel shady, but then its real cash and its away from the table.

like I said not at all ... do you think friends like the Unibomber and the Magician talk about villains away from the table?
I bet a huge majority of their conversations are on the topic.

No way it's unfair as long as it's not at the table,,,,,I'm sure pros do it, if they get a fish and someone has info on that person...
