    They will always offer you less than what an item is worth... It's the nature; or else they wouldn't make a profit.

    Some can be pretty brutal, but most now a days some are pretty fair also cause they do not want a bad rep.

    great to buy stuff at, but i'd never be stupid enough to sell anything to them. better off doing it myself on craigslist/ebay.

    pawnshops are for quick fixes and that is it, if you use it for long term fixes, than you are dumb and get what you deserve

    I haved both sold stuff and just pawned stuff at a local pawn shop. Selling stuff was a total rip-off. Pawning stuff has come in handy in a pinch.
