Kind of have to tell this in reverse.. Went to cook a frozen pizza in the oven,,, directions said something like preheat for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. After about 5 minutes I began to smell something strange.

It then hit me,,, you see I have one of those Sentry Safes, I keep it hid in my oven. Hiding one in the bottom or top of closet is a little to obvious. It had melted alot of the outer covering, stuff inside was fine. Still keep it hid there, but have removed the on/off knob on stove. Put it back on when I cook. DOH

made me laugh, glad u didnt burn house down tho .. write u self note, keep near oven before u coook next time. or get toaster oven and just use that to coook, and leave money in big oven LOL GL

haha....call me crazy....butt I might be diff than the rest but I got a fire proof safe....not sure why you would store valuable stuff in a plastic box!!! but I guess we get the idea .lolol
