While I think the chat gets a little insulting from time to time in the poker rooms, and even outright vulgar once in a while, it IS NOT the norm. It's usually the same jerks every time and there is an easy solution... MUTE THEM.I'll admit that my views on this have changed over the last month as I have become more familiar with my surroundings. Granted also, I'm of the personality type that can't be intimidated by anyone who thinks their words are made of steel rather then air.

No need to paint the whole community with the same brush. Do so, and you effectively become an extreme version of the very people you are deriding.
