A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death Sunday by his friend after the two fought over a pot in a card game worth Rs. 180, or $2.90 in U.S. dollars, according to the Hindustan Times.
The game took place in north Delhi.
?The victim and his friends were drinking and playing cards last evening when an argument broke out over who had won the Rs. 180 in the pot,? a police officer said.
The attacker eventually took out a kitchen knife and began stabbing the victim.
?Govind was stabbed multiple times in the chest and abdomen before he was rushed to the Bara Hindu Rao hospital by a team from the local police station. He was, however, pronounced dead,? the officer said.
