im getting into collecting and Morgan dollars seem like a good way to start

spill your guts on all you know about morgans in this thread!

Look at almost all of them for the silver value only.

Note the Carson City ones have a higher value as the CC mint was only in operation for a few years. They were pulling so much silver out of Nevada from the Comstock load, they had to start minting coinage there.

There are one or two Morgan dollars worth quit a bit, but unless you are getting a really really good deal on them, just buy silver.
