hi all this is an idea to the mods/zab for something fun that will help people to earn points thru posts and bonuses ill admit it is taken from another forum i used to go on and it proved a big hit there

the thread was called the wheel of morality thread

the rules were simple
u had numbers from 1-100 with variying prizes both good and bad (would change in accordance to the site obv)
so as a rough idea
0 + 100 1 week ban from the site
1-50 nothing
51-70 100 points
71-80 3 day ban from the site
81-99 500 points

the idea is that the mods use a random number generater site (randomnumber.org i think but i can have a word with one of my contacts from the other site to get the right web address)
and they use this site for each poster and edit said post with the results
you ant post again UNTIL someone else has posted after you (if u do it results in an instant 1 day ban)

if u like this idea let me know think it would be good for the site

I think it is a neat idea, but we already have so many ways we earn points, through posting, leaderboards, speedway...and I don't know if you have seen the quality of the majority of the posts here alot of ppl use just to get their 25 points, it would be tough.

thats the great thing, the posts dont have to be quality it would effectively be a spam thread (which would hopefully clean up the rest of the forum)
plus with the threat of a ban in there it would just make it win haha

oh the original had more options like u could win a ban for someone else n stuff (to make it less easy to get points but still fun) as well as name changes and stuff

zab said he wanted another way to dish out points when kill the sneaks disappears due to the coupon system...this could be it?

well u wouldnt post in the thread if u wernt aware of the risk it would be a fun thread and as i said was a huge success on the other forum i used to use (over 100 pages)
for 500 points id take the risk

then a mod uses the random number generator to get a number from 0-100
depending on that number the poster can get a prize (points, the ability to change someones username, or a chance to ban another member for a selected period of time) or a forfeit (ban changed username (mods choice) etc)
the mod that used the rng would edit the posters post to notify them of what they had won
any clearer?

the mods were evil on the other forum last thing u wanted was to get ya name changed by one of them lol ud of preferred the ban LOL

Cool idea, but needs to be improved to be integrated if it really wants to be placed in.
