I saved her!

Ok I am an animal lover and I don't like to see animals get hurt or be harmed in any way. About 2 weeks ago my neighbors about 3 houses down moved out and left their dog. She is a Rot Doberman mix. For 2 weeks she ran the street with the humane society trying to catch her, the cops tried to catch her, the pound tried to catch her and none of them succeeded. I felt horrible for this dog, the temps here were getting below freezing at night and she had no where to go. I started putting food and blankets out for her and she would come and sleep on my front porch. I was determined to give this dog a home. I also found out that her previous owners abused her.

She would run away from everyone and I would see her at night shivering outside. This morning I got up for work and there she was sleeping on the porch again. I opened the door and she took off. As I was leaving for work I saw her standing on the side walk a few houses down. I pulled up next to her and rolled down my window and talked to her.. she walked right up to my car and put her face to mine and licked me. After that it was all history.. she hopped in my car and I took her home. She won't have to be cold or alone anymore!
