Got a virus from one of the survey sites...

I have a sneaking suspicion that it was Double Down Casino, but I'm not sure. It uses a pretty slick little Java exploit:
Exploit.Java.CVE-2012-0507. I was running Java 6 at the time. Upgrading to the latest version of Java fixes the security hole.

No big deal, but you guys should make sure that your antivirus software and Java are up to date.

thanks for the tip, this is why I never do any of the downloads. I do have anti virus but just don't want to chance it for 100 points

The double down casino I don't think really counts as a download, I did do this one and did not have a problem, but I am up to date on everything.

Yeah, this wasn't a downloaded program, it was visiting a website that uses Java, and that I hadn't updated Java on my computer in a while. I agree about the downloads. Most are chock full of spyware.
