Finally put them down

As of last night I quit smoking cigs. what made all this go down was I went outside as I always have to smoke and my daughter came out and said "daddy can you quit smoking", and I said wow ummm why?? She said "becasue I love you and don't want you to get hurt". I right then had a half a cig left threw it into the trash went into the house and told wifey I am done. I had 3 more packs still and told her to give em away.

So I know it is only been 24 hours but I really don't feel any urge, my worst fear was when I cracked a beer but I still feel fine. So wish me luck peeps

lol. i told some family members of mine when i was like 3, my mom smoked weed, and she was only smokin cigs. yea really shouldnt be done aroung kids. You're lucky she didnt just say " Cause I dont want you to die, or you to kill our family from second hand. "

Hang in there,,,I smoked for 45 years and I was smoking 3 packs per day. I quit 6 years ago,,, Do it for your health and then the bonus of all that extra money , is gravey.... Three years after I quit I got lung cancer,, cancer free now,,, but those 3 years that I had quit might have been the difference of it not spreading... Good luck Drywallman
