Massive internet outages could happen this Monday and if you're not careful, you may be a victim. The FBI is warning hundreds of thousands of computer users to check for a virus called DNS Changer.
A simple search of the internet, one wrong click and your Computer could be under attack by malware.
This time, there's a deadline to get rid of DNS Changer. It infected nearly 600,000 computer via online advertisements.
" Well its those advertisers that are getting infected," Dave Enright with Enright & Deiure PC said. "If you happen to click on one of those adds maybe their infected, and all of sudden it comes to your machine."
The actual attack happened last year. Your Domain Name System connects you to the internet, but DNS Changer gets rid of your real system for a rogue one.
The FBI arrested the hackers last year, and set up a safety net for infected computers around the world. However, that agency is taking down that safety net on Monday, July 9.
The FBI does have a website to help you find out if the malicious software is on your computer.

Enright says investing time in an anti-virus software can protect your computer and precious files.
Some like AVG, SUPERAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes are free.
"People got to take the time to keep their machine protected," Enright said. "It's happening with both the PC and the MAC."
So all computer users should be on the lookout.
