About LinkBacksmy dad just called me and told me that a fed ex package came and he thought it was his because we have the same name..
he opened the box and there was a check inside issued for me...
the check is from california bank and trust from aircraft technical publishers for $2250..
anyone ever get a check like this before in the mail?
can i cash it at a casch advance check cashing place?

You will want to do research on this before cashing it. If you cash it and it bounces or something you will be screwed.

Ya, I would research it for sure. Start with typing the company name and the word scam after it into google.

Yeah that actually happened to me back in the UB days. I requested a check from UB and I got it a week later. Then another week goes by and I get another check in the mail for more money, but I didnt request another withdrawal. I figured they messed up and processed it twice and I would get lucky. Unfortunately it bounced and I had to pay the $35 fee when I deposited it. However UB saw the mistake and credited my account with an extra $100 bucks. So I wasn't that mad...

I think these things are legit.. I mean, I have won $47 million from Nigeria so far.. It has to be legit right?
