As an army vet, I lived three years in germany and visited quite a few other countries. Our food and water are basically the safest, and most plentiful in the world.(I cant give blood, because I lived in Europe during mad cow disease) I agree americans are more unhealthy than they should be.

i was brought up on fresh food bought everyday and am quite healthy which i am sure is the reason
