NetGear sucks by the way i had it and i had quite of few issues with it kinda like the issues you are having.

you still may need to buy a new router. maybe the internet settings are not compatible with the router call you internet provider

Are you sure you are connecting to your network and not the neighbors, that was my son's issue with his iwhatever....

This happened to me recently...Usually its the connection due to being far away or weak connection.....
Im not good with comps but I opted to restore my comp to factory condition b.c i coiuldnt figure a way to fix it and then started working again....but im sureeeee there is a easier way to do it,.

Ok first off in past experience it could be 2 things either your router is having problems with recognizing the modem and gainning the IP info for you comp or your comp mite not be reonizing the router's IP
