We all Know the cardinal rules of poker.
But we all deviate from these from time to time.
What are your personal cardinal rules that you tend not to deviate from. Or even your murphy's laws of poker.
My biggest one is, I don't look at the chat box until after the first break.

That sounds like a superstition rather than a cardinal rule. My cardinal rule is never call as a small favorite or a big dog. That would be for all of my chips or for most of them and the pot odds are also incorrect to make the call. Another rule I closely try to adhere to is to never bluff a calling station. But that one is less important to me than the one I mention above.

Patience is everything. It can turn your cards into gold.
