would you rather have a high pair with a low kicker or a low pair with a high kicker


on average ive noticed ive lost more pots because of the opponent having a higher kicker with a high pair and it got me thinking

so which would u rather have?

Often I like more the low pair with a high kicker

I'm such a tight player both high pair with a low kicker, and low pair with a high kicker would make me very uncomfortable about my hand. If I had to choose I would rather have the high pair with a low kicker because when I have low pair and someone else bets out or calls my bet I assume that I am most likely beat and will fold my low pair.

I'd say low pair - high kicker. 1. easier to define value of the hand. 2. easier to get away from if facing too much action.
