lol i did that 3 years ago. I was working some dead end temp job while going 2 community college. I went 2 the soaring eagle in mi, which was like a 2 hour drive. I brought the max buyin which was $500 for 1/2 nl. Ended up after approximately 30 hours with $1100. The game was going strong and i called my boss from the casino floor. Had to run to the bathroom when a slot nearby started going off because someone won the jackpot. I ended up with over 2k profit when i c-bet the flop with air and was smooth called. I picked up a double gutter and flush draw and fired again and was re-popped. He had over 500bbs as well and i was just praying 2 hit the 15 outer. Guy lead the river when i rivered a straight and i had a psb behind. Was this old guy and he stared me down for over 5 minutes before making the call. I was like 19 or 20 and was so nervous. Guy finally shrugged and figured i could be some random kid who watched 2 much wpt on tv. He made the call and was so tilted. Ended up giving this kid a ride home, and he is like the only poker friend i have 2 this day. I remember driving home and blowing almost all of it on school clothes. Yeah i had pretty bad brm.
