yeah i really don't care much for Howard Lederer either, i wouldn't even spend my time with any of his training materials.

Lederer had a set of TV spots too - I don't remember what show it was associated with, but they would sometimes break out to a Lederer training vid. They were terrible - boring, VERY basic, and sometimes (according to other authors) just plain wrong on strategy

All training books and videos can be good but as u know that what they did may not work for you

id say the worst way to train yerself at poker is by letting your drunk friend sit next to u and have to listen to him tell u what to do each hand
