Has got to be Q10 suited, as it looks sexy and tempting but in reality its just a pile of whack!...but even still i keep playing em and bet high with em, every now and then I hit but not often enough lol.

Ax and baby pairs to middle pairs because you only have 2 outs to improve that's roughly %4 i think

you actually get 12% chance of hitting a set on your pocket pairs pre-flop so the idea is to get in cheap to see the flop and get out if you don't hit. To get your trips by the turn if you obviously missed the flop is 8% .... looking even worse if you continued betting.... and if for some god only knows reason you havnt folded with your baby pairs by the time the river is about to come around and still betting, unless you think the fool your playing up against isnt on anything (like me today with pocket 5's! and I won when he showed a broken straight draw) by the river you've only got 4% chance. hope that helps with your percentages
P.S. my worst hand would be J-5 ... theres just nothing you can do with itLast edited by ojwood; 02-07-2011 at 04:09 AM. Reason: forgot to add a line

i really enjoyed reading these posts. i could really relate 2 a lot of them. if u r losing w/ a-a a lot, than u r playing them 2 slow. i almost never lose w/ a-a. same w/ q-q or k-k, altho i used 2 want 2 just fold q-q preflop cuz i never won w/ them. now, i try 2 bet people off b4 the flop w/ those, but if an overcard hits, u just gotta assume u r beat, but try 2 outplay the person that has u beat if possible, since he has no way of knowing if u have a better ace, since u did raise preflop. low-mid pockets, limp in early position & hope u hit set, or raise in late position & try 2 steal the blinds. it seems like there's almost always sumone w/ bigger pockets, tho, when u've got small-mid pockets online. suited connectors i NEVER have any luck with. hands like a-10, k-q, & k-j are so easily dominated by hands like a-k or a-q. never call a raise w/ those hands. aces w/ small kickers are great in a one-on-one hand, especially if the other person wasn't the raiser, but they are garbage in hands w/ more than one other person. k-10 is a trash hand. i hardly ever play that. as 4 hands like q-4 & j-6, i can't believe anyone would even admit 2 playing those hands. my worst hands have 2 be suited connectors, online or in live poker, & i hardly ever win w/ a-k online, altho i usually win with it in live poker.
