if you have 2 suited cards and 2 that match on the flop then it's about 36%. On the turn it drops to about 20% but the easiest way to calculate odds is remember the 2-4 rule. Count the number of outs you have on the fop multiply by 4 on the the turn multiply by 2. While it's not 100% accurate it gives you a good idea of your odds.

well in a pokerowned tourney, odds are very high, on any merge site odds are very high. Now what are the odds of you playing a boink hand pre flop and getting nailed on the river........... well same odds are high

Calculating the chance of flopping a set is a bit more complicated, and to reach the correct percentage or odds, this is how you do it.

On the first card of the flop: 48 cards are bad for you out of the 50 unseen cards.
On the second card, 47 out of 49 cards are bad for you
On the third card 46 out of 48 are bad for you.
The formula you then get is: 1 - (48/50)*(47/49)*(46/48) = 11.75 %, which translated into odds is about 7.5 to 1.
