You Don't play as many hands that's why. I get rolled so hard in live poker.

if you think its fixed then don't play. i had AK live the flop was KA9 the turn 2 and the river K that means there was only 1 hand that could beat me. what are the chances? And yes the guy had AA. i didn't blame the dealer saying he fixed it so why do people say it with online sites. if i lose a hand i just say nh and get on with it. the only thing that annoys me with online play is people that limp into the blinds then don't bet cause i multi table a lot and like to see a lot of hands so if you're one of the people who does that to me then just raise!!

I think that the bottom line is regulation. These online poker sites are regulated to a certain degree. Yes, I am sure there are some shady transactions that occur, as there are with many businesses. The software that is running on these poker sites use a random number generator. It is as random as a deal in real life. There are no differences. The cards that you and everyone else are dealt are always random. Another thing is the lack of vision. IRL, you can look at the other players, so in essence, you are automatically at a disadvantage when playing online poker, but it is an even disadvantage, meaning that all players experience it. But the cards are random.

I don't doubt there are cheaters online, they have been exposed. That's why so many got shutdown. The truth is you can't tell online, there is no "eye in the sky". I won't be buying into any online sites, probably ever.

I have seen multiple people with pockets in a hand in real life. It probably doesn't happen as often though. Even if the odds are different, that doesn't make online poker worse than real life poker. People that play online a lot know what typically happens online, and can expect it. If you play your hands right, it really doesn't matter if it is online or in person.

Ive seen the same stuff live as ive seen online. The bigger difference is that you dont see as many all ins live as you see online. Plus when people muck online, you can check hand history and see their hand (if the hand goes to showdown). In live, you dont see it. Just recently, I was playing $1/$3 at a casino and a guy had gotten AA about 4-5 times in about an hour. And he lost all the times he had it with a couple of sick beats. Poker is poker wherever it happens.
