that's not to bad, I would have maybe put you on A-K and thought you were c-betting on a whiffed board as I paired my 9 to hit trips..........sucks to lose with A-A but not a Bad Beat, a beat for sure though..........

A bad beat to me is where your opponent only has 1 or two outs left and you already have a big hand. Like a flush or better type of thing.

The scenario you posted is not rly a buad beat, because the majority of chips were pushed in after the flop... If both had gone preflop all in, then it would have been one...

The harshest beat I ever took went like this. I had 8 9 spades, my opponent had a king of spades and a blank. The flop was 10 j q all spades. We ended up all in after the flop. The turn was the ace of spades. That wouldn't classify as a bad beat for jackpot issuance at most casinos or online poker sites though, because both players have to use both of their hole cards.

Bad Beats are terrible, but you have to learn to take them and not go on tilt!

for me a bad beat is generally a 1 or 2 outer along with gutshots, but anytime i lose with better hand(preflop) i feel as tho i got bad beated LOL
